The Help Study – Secure website for London South Bank University

We were asked to design and build a website for the families of children with leukaemia, to help educate them on the journey from diagnosis to treatment and ultimately recovery.
The client requested a “linear” approach to the site so the parent or guardian was following a pathway through the site, but still able to jump in and out of sections. We designed the user interface to be clear and easy to use and to visualise where you were on the pathway, whilst being very accessible for all age groups and user abilities. It was particularly important that the site was very easy to use on an iPad or other tablet devices, as the majority of the families use these devices for browsing the net from home.
The site was built using a content management system that would allow the client to have ownership and edit the site easily.
Equipment used: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Concrete content management system.
